I am really loving the beautiful spring weather that we are having in the UK at the moment. This week in particular has been so warm - unseasonably so. Anyway, this weekend it is due to cool down again but I guess we have been remarkably lucky to have had this warm few days to start off with!
Schools break up tomorrow for just over two weeks so its going to be busy, busy. Here are some of the 'homey' things that are on my 'to do' list for the coming week:
- bake some Easter buns or cake
- dye some boiled eggs with the boys
- make a table decoration for Easter
- order a ham joint that we will have for Easter Sunday
- buy some Easter eggs
- make some cards for Easter
On a business front, it will be a case of fitting things in when I can - snatching an odd hour here or there. I am still working on the commission that I mentioned in my last post, so I plan to give that priority...
The other big project I am working on at the moment is designing a new website for my husband! I think this will be a test of our relationship but so far so good - just all encompassing!
The other day whilst I was eating my lunch, I came across this video by Jamie Ridler from Creative Living. I listen to Jamie's podcasts frequently and love them but had not seen her videos before. Anyway, I found this video really helpful and thought I would share it here. She is speaking about movement to music as a kind of meditative practice. In that you are just listening to the beat and responding in a way that feels right for your body - there is no right or wrong.

Lastly, hubby and I went for a walk with Mia the other day and we came across these llamas! Aren't they gorgeous! I love the sign too! Nidderdale Llamas
is a business that operates nearby and would definately recommend a visit!
