Bliss-Filled Week...
So, the school holidays are nearly over here in the UK. One more week to go... The time has flown by and there have been so many high points.
Here are just a few photos from this past week.
I had a lovely lunch with my Mum at Bettys Tea Rooms, Harlow Carr in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. This was the pudding I had! The food is fab and so, so indulgent! Bettys first opened in 1919 and is so quintessentially English.
Then after lunch at Bettys, we went to the Harlow Carr (Royal Horticultural Society Gardens) - just next door to Bettys. There is something for everyone there and our boys love it.
I came across these sunflowers and thought they were beautiful. I soooo must paint these! Gorgeous colours, so rich don't you think?
They also have an Alpine House garden which is spectacular. I have never seen so many of these specialised plants together in one place!

Next, I went to my friend's house for lunch with our boys. My friend has a son of the same age as our eldest and they get along great. On the long driveway to their house I came across these cows (they live on a farm). They came literally running to the fence to take a look at our car going by. I just had to stop and take some snaps of them! So cheeky!
Lastly, it was our 9th wedding anniversary recently, so I picked this rose from the garden and displayed it next to one of our wedding day photos. Happy Anniversary Robert sweetheart.... (wow, we looked young!) Love you loads...
I hope you are all enjoying your summer and filling it with your own happy memories... If you have any photos you would like to share with me, I would love to see your links in comments. Thank you.
Hugs and kisses to you all...
Jane x
